Maternity clothes:
I have started wearing some maternity clothes as of the end of last week. Some of my shirts and dresses still fit well, but my jeans and shorts are too tight in the belly now.
Stretch marks:
No new ones so far... I got a ton with my first pregnancy, so I'm hoping I don't get any new ones this time. Fingers are crossed!
Belly button:
Hasn't popped out... hoping it stays that way.
Sleep:
I'm still sleeping decent... just up for lots of potty breaks through the night.
Best moment of the week:
Going on a hike with Gia through Cloudland Canyon State Park. It was so beautiful there and I loved being able to share that with her. We followed it up with a picnic. She kept saying, "Mommy, I love having picnics!" ... Priceless!
Food cravings:
Milk... I'm drinking tons of it!
Food aversions:
Certain textures make me gag with no warning... cooked apples did it this week.
Nausea:
It's actually worse this week. Ginger tea was really helpful... if only I could find more at the store.
Energy:
I'm still pretty exhausted this week... but naps haven't come easy because I am restless.
Movement:
I know it is still early but I really feel like I have felt a few flutters.
Gender:
Still don't know... though Gia and Jose both swear it's a boy.
What I'm looking forward to:
Getting my first ultrasound in a couple of weeks to see baby and hear the heartbeat!
What I'm nervous about:
The first ultrasound... I am excited but still somewhat nervous. I just want to know that everything is okay with baby. I'm sure all is well and I'm being positive, just being honest too.
What I miss:
Emotional stability.
What's new with baby's development this week:
Baby is now well proportioned. Every organ is present. The skeleton of his or her arms and legs and spine begin to stiffen as bone cells are added.
